As the core component of its business model, TAP Integrative needed a membership site that would control content delivery and create different user experiences for members and general site visitors. Designed to be a content heavy site with a large video library, Bessler needed to present an intuitive user experience and rapid load times.
Omni provided TAP Integrative with a password-protected membership site, built on the Kentico platform. Members can manage their account information, watch videos, download content, read articles and participate in a community forum. Nonmembers can view several video tutorials of site features, read the blog and learn more about TAP Integrative before signing up.
On the back end, site editors control content displays for both members and non-members. Editors use dynamic content management tools to create new pages, add multimedia components and select specific content or promotions to feature throughout the site.
Site management tools also include version control, allowing editors to revert back to previously published pages. And audit trail features give administrators full visibility into user edits, content approvals and permission changes.
The membership site integrates directly with payment gateway Authorize.net to register new members and manage billing information. Member information also integrates with MailChimp, an email service provider, for email marketing.
TAP also received a centralized interface for the administrator to manage member contact information and email preferences, while maintaining high level security of member information.
By leveraging the Kentico platform and feature set, Omni was able to deliver a fully-functioning membership site in just four months, launching in time for TAP Integrative to unveil the site at a high profile industry conference.
