We are currently looking to hire an experienced Systems Owner. This is a unique direct hire role for a customer of ours in the Fox Valley (WI).

Here's what we're looking for:

  • Maintain efficiency of the systems and tools utilized to collect and process data from product research testing including custom and commercial software
  • Demonstrated application of project management skills to keep projects on track
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the product development process and business client / study manager needs
  • Conduct system analysis to drive operational continuous improvement
  • Conduct training for users on new software applications / functionalities
  • Lead upgrade and configuration user acceptance testing
  • Perform ongoing performance tuning, upgrades, and resource optimization as required
  • Troubleshoot issues that arise with internal systems/processes and communicate solutions
  • Develop and maintain procedures and documentation
  • Plan and carry out ownership responsibility with limited assistance and direction
  • Cultivate relationships with internal support teams to ensure operational excellence
  • Understand the capabilities and areas of expertise of external vendors to drive enhancements and capabilities

Bonus points if you also have: 

  • Successful engagement in team-oriented, multi-disciplined environment to successfully deliver business results
  • Demonstrated application of education principles in practice which may include entry level or co-op level assignments in a science or IT related field
  • Bachelor or Advanced degree in Science or IT related major / discipline or demonstrated equivalent ability based on relevant experience and appropriate, but lesser, formal education

Skills & Qualifications 

  • Knowledge of multiple operating systems such as Linux, Windows and mobile
  • Knowledge of procedural or object-oriented programming language such as C++ or Perl
  • Knowledge of relational database design and SQL scripting
  • Familiarity with SAS programming for data management
  • Familiarity with research methodologies and corresponding data collection needs
  • Ability to quickly learn and support software applications and capabilities
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize duties as necessary
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team to complete projects within required timeframes
